1. Porcupine Light Ale -4%- 10 IBU

Back when Brewmaster Andy used to be behind the bar a lot, we would always be asked, “What’s the closest thing you’ve got to Bud Light?” He eventually broke down and brewed Porcupine Light as an answer to that question.

Technically it is probably considered a “Pale Ale”, but that isn’t quite accurate. Andy calls it an “American Premium Light Ale”. This beer is light in color and has a little more flavor than a bud light.

  2. Michiconsin Honey Cream Ale -5%- 10 IBU

A step up from our Porcupine Light. If you can handle that one, try this one next. This is a smooth cream ale with Upper Peninsula honey added. The honey ferments out dry and keeps this beer crisp and refreshing. This one is a favorite with the locals and gets brewed often to ensure ample supply.

  3. Ayer Street Amber -5.4%- 30 IBU

Richer and maltier than most commercial amber ales. A combination of a few Belgian specialty malts gives this beer its color and depth of flavor. A good choice for those looking for less hops and more malt.

  4. Drift North IPA -6.9%- 85 IBU

Drift North is our house IPA and also was our first beer to go into cans. Drift North is a balance IPA somewhere between the West Coast style and English style. A substantial malt backbone holds up to the loads of hops that Andy throws in this one. A fairly easy going IPA, apart from the 6.9% ABV. and appeals to a wide variety of craft beer and non-craft beer drinkers.

  5. Heat Wave Hefe -5.9%- 15 IBU

This wheat beer sure hits the spot in August! Notes of banana and bubblegum pair well with the malty backbone for a true Hefe!

  6. Mosaic Blonde -5.6%- 45 IBU

A favorite beer that we bring back every year is Mosaic Blonde pale ale, brewed with…you guessed it…Mosaic hops. This hop creates a flavorful pale ale without over-the-top bitterness. Try it as a shandy!

  7. Black River Beer -4%- 20 IBU

Our dark beer of summer. This one comes in at 4% abv but with the full flavor of a stout or porter. If you are looking for a roasty dark beer but not the high ABV, this one is for you!

  8. Hard Seltzer -5%- IBU NA

In 2019 we came out with our first hard seltzer and have never looked back. Not only does it fit a unique niche on our menu, but it is also fully gluten free! While we haven’t come up with a GF beer yet, we are proud to offer a GF option and regularly rotate flavors to keep things interesting. Currently pouring Green Apple Hard Seltzer at 5% ABV. 100 calories per 12 oz serving, 133 per pint.

  9. Ember Ale -11.8%- IBU 15

Brewed to celebrate the current Emberlight Festival in Ironwood, Ember Ale is loaded with flavor! 88 pounds of fresh strawberries plays with notes of rum from the Jamaican Rum barrel. At 11.8% this beer packs a punch!

  10. Lemonade Shandy -4.2%- IBU NA

Looking for something lighter and slightly fruity? Our lemonade shandy is made by mixing fresh lemonade with our Honey Cream Ale for a truly refreshing summer beverage. Grab a pint in the taproom or a crowler to go!
